YES! The WIG OUT returns in 2012! We’ll be celebrating sun, surf, and all things warm and beachy.
Bone up on your beach party dance moves and show up in your best Annette Funicello, Surfer Dude, or really any kind of wig! There are Wiggy Awards to be won!

Here is The Plan:
The ever popular Wig Walk starts around 5:00pm from the SPARK Museum (formerly the American Museum of and Electricity) located at 1312 Bay Street. We will do a nice route around downtown to show off our wigs and attitude (bring instruments! bull horns!)

The Wig Walk ends at again at SPARK where you will have the opportunity to sign up to walk the Wig Out Contest around 5:45pm and win a Wiggy Award (special beach themed Wiggies this year)! Walk the catwalk and strut your stuff! You can also get your picture taken ON a surfboard in front of the BIG wave back drop, just like in the old Beach Party movies (yes, sorry to break it to you- those were staged). Thank you, SPARK!
Wig Out After Party at Bayou on Bay (corner of Bay and Holly) Bar and Patio! Let’s see how many wigs we can get on that corner! After Party starts at 7:00pm. Thank you, Bayou!
